FIT FOR
WORK

Being fit for work is paramount to staying alive on site, and we don’t just mean passing the pre-shift drug test. Being fit for work means that your body and mind are in the right condition to perform your tasks safely, without putting yourself, or others in harm’s way.

  • Did I get enough sleep last night?

  • Do I feel fatigued?

  • Is there still alcohol or other drugs in my system?

  • Do I have any injuries?

  • Am I in the right frame of mind to be at work, will I be distracted all day?

  • Is my medication affecting my performance?

If you have any concerns about fatigue, fitness, injuries, or alcohol and drugs, speak with your supervisor before the shift starts.

After reviewing the above questions, are you putting yourself or others at risk by coming to work today?
