Mount Barker Interchange Upgrade
Bardavcol, in partnership with Tonkin and GHD, is delivering the Mount Barker Interchange Upgrade for the South Australian Government to enhance capacity, safety and traffic efficiency through new and upgraded bridges, ramps, intersections and active transport infrastructure in this rapidly growing Adelaide Hills region

James Congdon & Sir Donald Bradman Drive Intersection Upgrade
The upgrade of the James Congdon Drive and Sir Donald Bradman Drive intersection will improve traffic flow, safety, and connectivity, making travel from South Road to the city easier and strengthening links between the CBD and western suburbs. As part of broader efforts to reduce congestion and improve travel reliability, the project introduces additional through and turning lanes to increase capacity and reduce delays, while prioritising safety through separated traffic movements. Dedicated infrastructure including wombat crossings and Shared Use Paths will enhance accessibility and provide safer, more connected options for pedestrians and cyclists.

Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive Intersection
The project aimed to improve efficiency to accommodate current and future traffic volumes, enhance safety for all users, and strengthen the sense of place through better integration of pedestrian, cycling, and public transport movements supported by extensive landscaping. Works were delivered while maintaining significant traffic flow, ensuring business access during compulsory land acquisitions, and safeguarding uninterrupted airport access, especially during peak travel times.
